1. What information we collect, and how
GunkangFirst (the "Site") can be used without signing up or logging in, and we do not collect any information that identifies you, such as your name or contact details, on the Site's servers. The symptoms you tick in the pain self-check and the supplements you select are processed only inside your browser and are never sent or stored anywhere. Display settings such as text size are stored only in your own browser (local storage) and are never sent to the Site operator or any third party.
2. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The Site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect usage data such as the pages you visit, time spent, device and browser type, and approximate location. This data is transferred to and processed on Google's servers, including outside Korea. The operator views it only as aggregated statistics that do not identify individuals. If you do not want Google Analytics to collect data, you can block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
Separately, the Site keeps its own first-party visit statistics to see which articles are read. When a page opens, the visit date and time, the page address, the device type (PC, mobile, or tablet), and the site you came from (its domain only — never the full address or search terms) are recorded on the Site's hosting server (Cloudflare). To count daily visitors, an irreversible hash of your IP address and browser details combined with the date is stored; the IP address itself is never stored, and the hash changes every day, so you cannot be tracked across days. No cookies are used for these statistics, and records are deleted automatically after two years.
The Site may show ads through third-party advertising services, including Google (for example, Google AdSense). These ad providers may use cookies to show ads that match your interests, based on your visits to this Site and other websites.
If you do not want personalized ads from Google's use of advertising cookies, you can opt out in Google Ads Settings or at www.aboutads.info. Most web browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
3. Sharing with third parties
As a rule, the Site does not share your personal information with anyone. However, for the analytics and ads described in section 2, Google and other ad networks may process cookies and device information under their own policies. That processing is governed by each provider's privacy policy.
4. Your rights
You can refuse cookies or delete stored cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that some features may not work properly if cookies are blocked.
5. About the health information
The pain self-check, supplement information, and other content on the Site are general health information. They do not replace a medical diagnosis or prescription. For an accurate assessment of your own health, please consult a medical professional.
6. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google Analytics and advertising cookies are turned off by default and are used only if you agree to them in the consent notice. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. You also have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because the Site itself stores no data that identifies you, requests about analytics or advertising data are best made through Google's own privacy tools as well.
7. Privacy officer and contact
The Site has appointed the following privacy officer, who is responsible for handling personal information and for responding to your questions and complaints.
- Privacy officer: Lee Tae-gyu
- Email: privacy@fotiblabs.com
Effective date
This privacy policy has applied since September 1, 2026, and was revised on October 19, 2026 to describe the use of Google Analytics, consent for visitors in Europe, and the privacy officer, and on October 26, 2026 to describe the Site's own visit statistics. If the English version and the Korean original differ, the Korean original prevails.
